I live in the heart of North Carolina.  High Point has long been known as the Furniture Capital of the World.  Once upon a time, we had booming factories producing some of the finest, hand-crafted furniture in the world.  As the industry has moved to China, our factories have closed.  Today, we are still the home of the International Home Furnishings market held every April and October.  Our area is FULL of creatives, designers, artists of all kinds.  In the last few years, there has been an emergence of these artists and craftsmen.  Murals have popped up around the city.  New Cohab spaces have cropped up in old factories in the Southwest quadrant.  A small, independent art gallery opened on historic Washington Drive.  A Collective of creatives.  These are my people.  Artists from all over the triad, coming together to make the community better.

Me?  I am also working on the marketing aspect of our gallery.  I joined them back in 2017.  I am so glad that I did.  I am amazed by all the talent.  The creative minds and ideas that pour out of their souls.  It’s truly amazing.  I am thrilled to be part of this group of talent.  I am working on our web site and will have it ready soon, but for now, I would love to see you following us on Instagram (@the512collectivehp) or on Facebook.

We have an exciting 2019 planned and you don’t want to miss it!!
