Just a few more days before we close the books on 2023. Living as an energy worker and artist, my time is filled with creativity and constant self-work. Whether I’m working in a group of like-minded women or showing up for myself to learn new things and expand my own life, I am constantly growing when I’m showing up for myself.
In 2023, the word I selected for the year was ADVENTURE. I was excited to get back out in the world in search of ADVENTURE! I wanted to explore new things and make new friends and find my purpose in life. So excited, I thought about (and designed) Word of the Year t-shirts. I created them in two color-ways, but never ordered them. I’m not surprised, this is who I am: Let’s create something and stop before it either grows too big or fails altogether. In 2022, I FINALLY learned to NOT stop.
A few years ago, I began working with an amazing coach, Gail Keyes-Allen. She reminded me that my creativity and art work is part of my journey. She also encouraged me to COMPLETE projects. She is 100% responsible for the creation of my first Mindfulness Coloring Book, available on Amazon. As we continued with group containers and book clubs, I have continued to step into my light and show up as the person I am meant to be.
This year, I am offering Word of the Year Merchandise that will launch on January 1st. All you need is your word and we will create items like t-shirts, sweatshirts, mug, etc to remind you to stand in your light and bask in your power of 2024.
This past year, I continued to paint and create and share my art (part of ME) with the world. I worked with women to expand my own mindset and accept the path that I am on to be what I am supposed to be doing.
I showed up for myself by participating in an Art Show with Women in Motion. Sure, I felt out of my element (hello, being SEEN), but I was also excited to share my artwork. The pieces I decided to show were some of my acrylic pieces full of color and nostalgia. I love to paint things that remind me of my childhood.
In the summer, I published my second coloring book focusing on my favorite place on earth–The North Carolina Coast!
In the Fall, with the kindness of my friend, Deborah, I opened my Reiki Studio, The Healing Room, in the back of her training facility, Moving Room Coaching. It’s been one of the most wonderful thins I’ve done and as the year progressed, I found myself drawn to offering Reiki infused Yin Yoga to my clients with amazing results. My offerings have expanded from Hands-on Reiki to Reiki infused Yin Yoga, Private Yoga, as well as Intuitive Life Coaching. To make an appointment, email me or check out the APPOINTMENT LINK.
